Advice on build

Go to solution Solved by RollinLower,

that's an amazing deal IMO. that chip alone should be worth more than the price he's offering you. go for it! i don't think you're going to find a better bang for your buck!

Some of you may remember me from before...

If you don't, quite a few weeks ago my friend offered me an i5 4590, 8gb RAM, and a MSI Krait Z97 motherboard for $150. In the end, I decided to decline and I would wait for Ryzen APU's to come out so I could get a better bang for my buck system. He came back yesterday and offered me the same thing along with a 750ti for $100. Should I go for it? I'd probably end up selling the GPU on craigslist and putting the money towards a better one. This is going to be my first gaming rig for games like LOL, fortnite, and PUBG. Let me know what you think.

I would go for it, you won't be able to play them at high settings but you could keep the 750ti and game with it. Always depends on your needs (resolution's a big factor). Personally I would go for it if I had the money

Yessss!!! That'll beat a Ryzen APU for much cheaper! Hell, would have even taken him up for the initial price but at the discount it's just a no brainer. You will NOT regret it.

why sell it?

i don't think you can get a "better one" for less than what a used 750 ti will sell for.

i'd just keep it ... the 750 ti is not all that bad and sure beats a ryzen iGPU

all in all ... that is a good deal ... i'd take a 750ti + i5 4590 + 8gb RAM + z97 board for under 200 in a heartbeat
