YouTube automatically subscribing

Well, first of all I have heard people complaining about getting UNsubscribed from channels, though I never experienced that. 

I am subscribed to a bunch of channels (less than 20) so I know well every channel I am currently subscribed. Yesterday I noticed a video in my feed from a channel I unsubed 2~ years ago. I unsubed again, but that was it. Today, ANOTHER channel appeared on my feed, and that got me thinking...

Both Channels are dota related. I stoped playing 2 years ago and unsubed from both of them, but nowadays im watching lots of dota videos (from a 3rd channel, which I never subscribed to).

Has anyone experienced something like that? It may be a coincidence, but I find very strange to be re-subed to two channels related to a content im currently watching a lot. Seens sketchy.

They combined YouTube and YouTube gaming subscriptions.

 

When YouTube gaming started the subscriptions on standard that was gaming got added there, but they where independent. So when you unsubscribed, it only did it to standard YouTube.

 

And now when they combined is back. It happened to me too.

Don't remember if it was yesterday or the day before it happened to me at least

Hey there,

I am experiencing the same issue. I automaticly get subscribed to channels that I watch often. I believe this could be a test to improve user engagement that you consentented with when allowing to help Google create better products. Maybe you can turn it off somewhere.
