Program to control laptop fan speed (ASUS GL553VD)

Looking for a program to alter the fan speed of my ASUS ROG GL553VD gaming laptop, tried speedfan and that doesnt work. Fans are noticeably noisy at idle and at load they sound like a jet engine is taking off (there is no setting to change the profile in the bios)

 

Also, im not voiding my warranty by changing the thermal paste and my CPU is already under-volted

If the fans on your laptop are loud underload, it probably means they are trying their hardest to keep your machine cool. If you set them lower your laptop will probably just overheat or throttle.

temps are 70 degrees max. Im prepared to sacrifice 10 or so degrees for noise level reduction

Good luck then. I myself use speedfan on both the desktop and laptop, but since it doesnt work, I'm out of ideas.

I use to use speedfan to control the pump speed of an AIO in one of my previous systems, there I was given the option to change the speed by using arrows.

 

On my laptop, the fan shows up but I am given no means to adjust the speed; it is as if the system doesnt want me to adjust the speed
