Hey, I bought a cheap blu ray reader for my pc off amazon and it didnt come with any kind of software to read the blu ray disks. Does anyone know a good program to download to use this?

Also BTW I plan to rip the movies off my dvds and blu ray disks in the future to put on a media server that i plan to create, and would like recommendations on how to go about that as well please.

Here is the link to it on amazon.

Make MKV can rip Blu Rays, dunno if it works on all of them.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Best FREE stuff out there for watching movies, Blu-ray or otherwise is VLC:

https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

For ripping movies, I use Wondershare:

https://videoconverter.wondershare.com/

For maintaining my movie database, I use CLZ Movie Collector:

https://www.collectorz.com/

And I also use the CLZ Barry software on my iPhone for scanning the barcodes on my movies so they are a lot easier to enter into the database.  CLZ Barry also maintains a copy of the database on the phone so that when I go to the store shopping for a movie or two, I can check the database to make sure that I don't already have that movie(s) in my inventory.  I currently have over 360 movies in my library so trying to keep track of whether or not I already have one can be difficult at times without the database.
