Hello, I was planning a modest gaming pc build and wanted someone to look over it and recomend any changes for it. It is on PC-Part Picker and it would be great if someone could give it the once-over. Thanks.

Please don't get the 850 Evo for that price. Even the replacement, the 860 Evo costs $5 less. For a budget build, the MX500 is a bit cheaper, and it should be decent.

Get a 3000MHz RAM kit for $10 more. It's like 1% higher in terms of the total cost, and the performance increases by more than that.

:)

That is $130 or so more expensive than the op's build though.

You are missing the point. He posted a build for $809. I am guessing he wants to keep it around that price range seeing as he said 'modest' pc build. Only the op can answer that question though.

Prices can be reduced by ditching the ssd...ND getting a cheaper case...And getting some slower speed memory
