absolute small budjet build

so my sister wants to buy a full  new computer. 

her son wants to be able to run fortnite.  lets say at minimum setting  1080p or 720p if  we cant stretch the budget

 

can you guys suggest a part picker (canada) or some prebuilt ?

 absolute  low budget , bare minimum

 

lets start with a modest  300$  Budget

Can you give us an actual statistical budget? ($200-300, $2000-3000, etc.)

I also have a  b55 cpu laying around  wonder if that be enough

and she already Owns  a  Hp Compaq  6200 pro mt  which seems  not  so bad ?   beside  intel hd2000, could I  just  put in a  video card  and make it work?

You could try finding an older card to throw in there. GTX 960 or something. Honestly a budget like that doesn't really leave you with a lot of options; I'd almost consider just getting an Xbox One S if gaming is the aim.

Not a bad idea, actually. That leaves you with more options. I suggest a 970 or MaB even a 980, if it works.

Nothing wrong with consoles. This is exactly why people buy a console. a $300 PC won't run fortnite or whatever popular game is up now. Get a PS4 or Xbox One and game on there. No worries about hardware that won't run it or anything else.

actually   put in a  1030gt,  for 100$  and it runs  at 100fps+

My $280 pc can run most games just fine. It's all about how thrifty you are.
