SIM Card carriers?

When shopping for a new smartphone, is it beneficiary to look for phones that "support sprint".

Or can i just put my SIM card in a new phone and call it a day?

You need to look for phones that support the CDMA bands that sprint uses. A lot of phones are CDMA and GSM but the bands they support can vary a bit so best to check and make sure.

Any thing below 4G on the Sprint Network is CDMA. Im not sure that Sprint would allowed non Sprint devices on their network. I know that Verizon another CDMA carrier is very restrictive. Also, I dont see too many Unlocked CDMA devices if any. Which is why people who bring their own devices generally use the AT&T and T Mobile networks.

Here is a site with the carriers and bands they use: https://www.phonearena.com/news/Cheat-sheet-which-4G-LTE-bands-do-AT-T-Verizon-T-Mobile-and-Sprint-use-in-the-USA_id77933

Hopefully that helps.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
