You will not be able to SLI with that PSU. You should have a 750w minimum for SLI to be comfortable. Also, SLI is pretty much dead with support lacking and is dying a certain death in the near future based on trends. If you need a Graphics Card, the best option is to buy the single fastest card you can afford.

Easiest way to determine if your PSU can handle SLI / Xfire... the W required to run 1 card x 2 including your other items in the machine...

Also if u dont care about the newest and greatest cards... 980/980ti is still alot faster than a 1060 ;)

980 is roughly equal to the 1060, but still a good buy. 980ti is a great buy at the right price. They have gone up in price however because everyone is aiming for them with the current market

That's an F in the profile pic

250 for a 980ti (clocks to be faster than 1070) is a great price consider the current market

If you can get a 980ti, it would be the better buy - if you already had a 970 then id say go for it, but the chances are you can get a 980ti for the price of 2x 970s, the single powerful card will be the better option and wont strain your PSU as much
