Colour Calibrating Software??

Tarun10

So, I have a HP Envy x 360 and is has pretty good colour reproduction but I feel the Yellow's are a little off or maybe that is just me.

Nevertheless is there any free or trial calibration software even if I just have to eyeball. I just do casual work on it but I watch a lot of content so a visually pleasing screen would be good.

Also how do I measure the colour reproduction and other parameters for screen quality???

I think you need hardware for this kind of thing to actually measure it, which isn't cheap as far as I know, but I could be wrong.

Crystal: CPU: i7 7700K | Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z270F | RAM: GSkill 16 GB@3200MHz | GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti FE | Case: Corsair Crystal 570X (black) | PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 1000W | Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24"

Laptop: Dell XPS 13 9370 | CPU: i5 10510U | RAM: 16 GB

Server: CPU: i5 4690k | RAM: 16 GB | Case: Corsair Graphite 760T White | Storage: 19 TB

Windows has a basic calibration tool, but it's crap. For proper calibration, use hardware like Spyder makes.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

You need some hardware that actually reads the color to confirm what it is/should be, and helps you adjust.  Otherwise it is all subjective. I have this problem right now, I need a new primary display and calibration.

Ryzen 7 2700X , Asus Prime X570-Pro, Bykski CPU Block, AMD Vega 56, Barrow GPU block, g.Skill Ripjaws V 32GB PC2800, Dual EKWB SE360 Radiators, Corsair RM750x PSU. All in a Lian-Li PC011 Dynamic XL case.
