Hello guys,

i just bought a ATH M50s headphone and i was excited to try it, but i found the sound is a bit sharp some times its very clear and i can hear alot of new things in most of the tracks that i listen to but it feels a little bit too sharp i dont know how to describe that in another way.

not sure if its the headphone or me geting used to crappy headphones over the time, anyway is there any software tweeks that i have to do when i get a good headphone?

thanks!

i think you are just not used to nice headphones yet. use them for a weak and if you are still not satified use an EQ for your music. u can tone down whatever u feel is too sharp.
but use them for a week first

Collate all your sounds into a playlist. Play them through your M50s for about 2 days continuously under a pillow. That should break them in. You may also want to invest in a new amplifier.

If you are using Spotify look up Equalify, its a free add-on that only takes a download and restart of spotify,

its a nice clean UI with a feature to save profiles.
