Like 300W when overclocked. 450W for a 1080 Ti and 8700K. With 550W you're pretty much set for anything that's not HEDT or multi GPU.

The cheapest PSU that isn't total crap is the CX450 for $70. Then you have the TXM and Focus Gold for $110. Then for $150 you have the RMx.

:)

Cooler is a piece of shit if you don't use a SFF Case like a RVZ-01.

Get a real one - for the same price.

The Rest, a good 400W PSU is more than enough, no need to go for 600W or more. That's a waste of money.

A Corsair CX450M would be fine for your system. As others have said, get a taller CPU cooler. The H7 might struggle to cool a hexacore so maybe get an H5 if you care about overclocking. Also, skip the M.2 SSD and get a much cheaper SATA SSD. I guarantee you if you're buying an i5 there's nothing you're doing where the bandwidth provided by an NVMe SSD would make a noticeable difference.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
