Obviously a jab at google glass which does not seem very refined as is. I feel this thing's success relies heavily on glass's success.

for that price I could just pay someone to do the same thing (possibly even get a scooter and make them pedal me around town)

With today's technology I often wonder why we don't have colonies on the moon or Mars. Then I go to Wal Mart for 5 minutes and realize the vast majority of the human populace isn't ready for such things.
