Hello I'd like to know if I can connect 2 local networks and make them work as a single network if it's possible, a friend will be staying at my place for a while and he's bringing his rig so here's the thing

There are 2 routers;

Router #1: Friend's rig + My sister's computer + Router #2

Router #2: My rig + NAS + Laptop

we'd like to access the NAS from the computers that are on router 1 but I'm not sure how to make it work, everything is configured as gigabit full duplex, and my friend and I will be playing games over LAN too

ASUS X470-PRO • R7 1700 4GHz • Corsair H110i GT P/P • 2x MSI RX 480 8G • Corsair DP 2x8 @3466 • EVGA 750 G2 • Corsair 730T • Crucial MX500 250GB • WD 4TB

Why do you have 2 routers?

Network map?

Normally just use a switch, or turn of nat on the second one.

the main router has only 4 ports plus there's no room for the NAS where it's located

Disable NAT and DHCP on the second router so everything is on the same network.

I'll try

Then get a switch, not anouther router.

I ordered a $50 PSU yesterday that was why I was trying to avoid buying new stuff until next month or so

for the moment disabling nat and dhcp worked but only at 100mbps, 1gbps refuses to work, currently trying to figure out what's wrong

Y’all can’t come up with $30 for a switch between the three of y’all?  Connect router -> switch -> everything else.
