There really isn't, any program that claims to do so is usually a scam.

Besides, there isn't a reason for people to want to buy your performance since they'll be limited and have to deal with the added latency.

Edit:

If you mean host like a game server, it depends on the game you want to host but you also need to leave the computer online and generally leave it alone which I doubt is what you want.

I have a high-end game pc and I want to rent out the performance of my pc for other people to use, does someone know of a program / service that does this

(it is like Gforce now but then I am the host)

Google, Microsoft, Nvidia, and so on, they have data centers, which usually involves building direct fiber lines with Tier 1 providers. They have full optical speed, and serious equipment to get the least possible latency. In your case, you are connected to a Tier 3 or 4 internet provider, and running at best a "meh" modem. Plus your connection is shared, giving you variable performance, and variable latency.

In addition to all this, as you would be using the computer, possibly even gaming, the actual user would have variable experience in performance. So both you and your client would have fluctuating performance. And if he/she decides to so some intensive task.. bye bye CPU/GPU/RAM for you. Basically, you'll fight for performance.

It is fine if you run a game server for like a game like TF2 or something, if everyone knows that this is just for fun server. But the reality of things is that you would need to sale your performance for dirt cheap, possibly even free. And you have to spend time and money maintaining all this (including paying your electric bill). And that is assuming that you have genuine unlimited data and not "unlimited for the first 100GB, and then you'll be switch to 56K dial-up modem", like they do with smartphone service providers in the US.

well, that is the problem. the crypto market is just so fluctuating that I really don't trust it for making a nice extra on the pc I have.

that's why I was thinking about a renting out my performance because that is a lot more stable.

there are always gamers.

There isn't even any commercial service which would have their own software capable of doing that reliably. Cloud gaming, so to say, isn't a thing because of latency. Just Steam in-home streaming has issues if network isn't stable enough. As for servers, consider what you are paying for electricity and network usage. Factor that into what you would be asking for using PC as server and then see if you can compete with commercial stuff. If you can break even, I salute you. Do also check if you service provider allows hosting such services. Most require business/home office connection if one is to make profit of it.

Overall, in old days you could easily have VOIP server, game servers and maybe homepage running from home for few friends and save rather than going for commercial. But now with Discord being a thing, there's even less need.
