Could test it yourself, as he already did his even if it isn't always the best. not like it matters if they do or don't.

Well with Windows 98SE, with the Geforce 256 and onwards, the rule of thumb is the older the driver the higher the performance. With modern drivers, they simply just don't optimise any further (that's if they even can).
