The wattage is good enough, but if you're building a system high-end enough to have a 1080Ti, it's worth investing in a tier 1 or 2 power supply. PSU tier list in sig.

 

that PSU will definitely work, but it just seems slightly out of place for a very high end build -- usually I'd put a PSU like this with a GTX 1060 or 1070 /  RX570 or 580

It will power it and the GPU, however perhaps you could afford a better PSU? The CX650M is a decent unit but if you can afford a 1080 Ti, can you afford a Seasonic Focus Plus Gold or Corsair TXM.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

No, get at least a TX, better RMx or similar from other companys like Straight Power 11, Bitfenix Whisper M or Formula.
