Hello everyone,

I need some cooling advice from you guys.

The problem

I have noticed a CPU throttling issues while stress testing.
The CPU temps are at 55C and the cooler is seated properly, so it can't be that.
Upon touching the VRM pasive cooler, one of them is quite hot (like a coffee mug).

So I would like to ask you for the best coolingt solution

I thought that it would be best to buy a few more airflow fans, but I am not shure where to place them, so I ask for your advice.

Also I would very much appreciate if you hinted me what fans do you think would be the best for the job. Thank you.

The setup looks like this (also in the attachments):

System setup image

  • The red circle is the overheating VRM cooler
  • The blue boxes are installed fans

System info:

  • Case: Fractal design define S
  • MB: ASUS Strix X370-F
  • CPU cooler: Artic freezer 33

Thank you all for help.

Place a small case fan on top of the CPU cooler if possible to blow the VRMs.

Have you tried lowering the fan on the heatsink?
