Hello! I picked up a Sapphire 7870 used for $40. Tested it with the original owner's PC and it worked fine. I installed it in my PC and downloaded the latest drivers from AMD (18.3.1 Adrenalin) After that I launched a game to test the card's performance (Far Cry Primal). This is where I noticed that I was only getting 7fps on medium settings (1400x900). What could be the problem?

P.S. I used a 750ti before this but I uninstalled the drivers of Nvidia before I installed AMD's. Also, I have a 600W PSU with 520W on the 12V line so nothing to worry about power I guess.

I'm running an i7-2600 and 8GB Ram. Yes I know that 7870 is not a lot faster but 7fps on Far Cry Primal Settings is weird. Additionally, there are two display adapters in Display Manager. The Radeon HD 7800 Series works fine but the Microsoft Display Adapter has an error message.

Will try to use DDU to completely uninstall Display Drivers.

It seems like the problem was because of the remnant Nvidia Drivers. I uninstalled every display driver and installed a new one and voila! :)

(I also was able to OC the card, now it performs like a stock 1050ti (3dmark Firestrike Graphics Score of 7,700)
