I haven't used one for longer than a minute or two, so I won't pass judgement until I do. Though, the next phone I get likely won't have a display like that anyway *shrug* I don't see how it'd make it unusable, you could just get a smaller sized phone if you have small hands. Or change the way you hold it. In Asia, loads of people have absolutely massive phones, and they do just fine.

 

People said the same thing about the original Note. Look where that went.

Excessively thin bezels makes for a cluster fuck of accidental interaction. My S8 is the sole reason I don't game on mobile anymore.

Those people weren't completely wrong. For some people, the Note size is not usable. Samsung even introduced one handed mode that reduced the screen area to that of a ~4" phone (I believe it's about 4", the Note 4 can go smaller than an S4 screen).

Those people weren't completely wrong. For some people, the Note size is not usable. Samsung even introduced one handed mode that reduced the screen area to that of a ~4" phone (I believe it's about 4", the Note 4 can go smaller than an S4 screen).

They're still out there though. If it was that much of an issue, people wouldn't buy them, and there wouldn't be as much of a demand as there is.

The first Note is the one I was referring to, not the new ones. It's highly subjective. I can't stand 4" phones. Judging by sales and trends, neither can the majority.
