A lot of them are out of stock because of the holiday season

AMD increase price because they are stupid and don't realize no one wants to buy a 280x for 400 dollars...

Let's be clear: it's the retailers increasing prices, not AMD. Actually, my take is that AMD's more likely to be pissed off about this than any of us are - they know damn well that no one wants to buy a 280x for 400 dollars. This isn't helping their profits, since all the extra markup goes to the retailers, and if prices don't go back down by the time the next batch of cards comes in, then they'll have lost one of their biggest advantages over Nvidia. It'll take months before we get a clear idea of how this is going to affect the market over the long term, but right now, it doesn't look good for anyone.

You're and your are not the same. Neither are their, there, and they're. Defiantly and Definitely are definitely not the same. Definately and Rediculous are not words, and you should feel bad for misspelling them. If English is your first language, you don't have a learning disorder, and you get any of these wrong, you are making the entire forum slightly dumber by doing so. Please take the extra three seconds to type properly, and have a nice day.
