I keep recommending this laptop, but if you want something with gaming chops that won't break the bank, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming series is something to look at.

I think HP has something similar in their Envy lineup. Lenovo also has something (I forget the series though)

If you have a pretty low budget 600$, try the Acer Aspire E15 on Amazon. Get the version with the latest 8th gen i7 and MX150. The screen however is not that great but should be an improvement to your current laptop.

For a little more try something like the Acer Predator Helios 300 if you don't mind bulkiness otherwise wait for the HP Envy with the Ryzen Integrated APU chips.

Acer Aspire E15

Aspire 5 is better, Better build quality. No need an i7 ULV CPU, i5 and i7 don't make much difference in ULVs due to TDP and cooling limitations.

You could also try something like the Razer Blade Stealth if you want more power.

No no, Razer laptops suck, shitty quality and QC plus shitty customer support

cooling on that thing is superb

WTF. The cooling dies in unrealistic heavy CPU+GPU load, throttling everywhere. Gaming laptops with good cooling system can handle it without/with minimal throttling. Also the GPU is slightly throttled in games and benchmarks (technically a Max-Q version).

IMO you're just a Razer fan. Please no, Razer QC sucks nowadays. I used to love Razer products too those days since they are quite reliable (my Razer mouse lasted for 9 years and it's still working). Now Razer things are just trash.

I am talking about the Razer Blade Stealth which has nothing but an Intel Integrated Graphics. Benchmarks will show that even compared to the Dell XPS it hold the Turbo Boost clock much better because of its better cooling system. As for the Razer Blade however, the cooling sucks and throttling is all you see.

The Razer Blade Pro too is just shit I agree but the Stealth is very good for external GPU setup but the extra cost over the latest Dell XPS 13 ain't worth it.

I am not a Razer Fan but I do like their Gaming Peripherals(at least some of them) like the Deathadder and their recently launched Nommo speakers.

I think you made a mistake. XPS 13 with KB-R CPU can score a pretty high score in Cinebench due to higher PL1 limit (600+cb). Razer Blade Stealth with KB-R CPU has a below average score due to mediocre cooling system (<500cb)

Ok I think I am confusing models here, anyway Razer's laptops are shit but I believe their peripherals are still of good quality.
