Is my gpu broken?

When i play rust or any other games i can play for 30 mins or so but then the screen makes some items in the game turn purple or green. Other times it turns half my screen just black, i can make my guy face that direction but its just pitch black.

Im running on rust on my NEW rx 580 nitro 8gb is it broken any fixes?

Swap the display cable and hope it works

do you have drivers up to date and do you have an adequate cooling solution for the card like case fans do you have any airflow going over the card also see if it is the port cming loose or something like that

I think your GPU is dying, but do a whole lot of troubleshooting before assuming that.

Try reseating the graphics card,

download DDU and use it in safemode to wipe out your GPU drivers and registry entries, then reinstall the driver.

Try a different monitor

reinstall windows

etc..

and then if nothing works after you tried everything suggested you can find...

try flashing the GPU bios.

That is a sketchy thing to do though so do that last!
