is a 500$ mini itx build possible?

i need some help putting together a mini itx build for later in the year.. i was thinking i could start with 500$ but ive heard gpu prices have gone up so im not sure if thats enough. it wouldnt need to be anything crazy.. im only interested in playing overwatch mostly. maybe some csgo or fortnite. if i need to spend a little more to be able to upgrade later down the line thats fine. i appreciate any help provided, you guys are great and i never go anywhere else for questions like this <3

How much later in the year... 6 weeks, 6 months. there are several perspective product releases that could have a huge impact on the answer.

That is way to far away to give any definite answer... So maybe. There should be at least 2 major hardware releases in that time frame, rysen+ and Nvidia GTX 20XX/11XX series cards. There is also the current dram shortage going on that may get better or worse or stay the same between now and then that could drastically impact prices.

Can't be done for $500, sorry. The GPU is in the CPU.

You'll need to ask the webshop to verify the board is Raven Ridge ready and if not flash it for you.

The last part meant that the current motherboards for Ryzen don't always support the 2000 series if they don't have an up to date BIOS, or firmware. The webshop you order from can tell you whether it's supported or not and they might even make sure it is if you ask them nicely.

Might as well just go for a 120GB SSD and add a mechanical 1TB for good measure. Should be about the same. With modern titles, 250GB is filled with just 3-4 games.
