Windows 10 Update Stuck

Well we are on 1709 officially. If it were my guess, MS only deeply tested the last previous version of Windows upgrading to this one, and not 2, 3 version back, with the assumption that Windows update will kick-in for everyone. That is my guess.
If the update fails then it is usually a driver compatibility issue and/or Anti-virus (if you use something esle than Windows Denfender) other security softwar emight be at play as well. Make sure all your drivers, including network, chipset, audio ones are fully updated, uninstall your anti-virus and security software (if any) and reboot, then try again. If that doesn't work, you can try using Media Creation Tool, to to a Windows 10 update to Windows 10. If that still fails, or can't do it, then boot from a USB flash drive the latest version of Windows 10 setup, and try doing the upgrade there as well. And if that STILL doesn't work, repeat the Media Creation tool update, and pick to only keep your data. That should work. But you'll need to re-install your stuff.. but it will by-pass any driver issues, and whatever program you had that is blocking the upgrade.
