Entry Level PC Troubleshooting

So im planning to build a pc for the first time + monitor with it being around £500 +/-50 so i don't really know if all the things ive picked would work together. so i would appreciate it if you guys would check to see if they all work together and there isnt anything missing. Also new parts suggestions that fit the budget would be cool.

and for this do i need a hdmi cable then vga to hdmi so it can plug in to the motherboard

Yes it does include a stock fan and pre applied thermal compound.

If you go with that build for your first budget machine, I would say well rounded. I might have tried to get a SSD in as well. Only running a HDD will drag the overall performance down a lot. 

 

The CPU , if boxed, usually comes with a heatsink. Those also have thermal paste already applied to them. Due to the cpu being on a low TDP the ~270g of the box may include a indel boxed fan, which will be enough for the beginning, but can get noisy. 

 

Your display will be connected from the GF 1050 via HDMI, no other cable to connect that machine to the display needed.

@Stickurr [⚕]if you have the dedicated gpu you plug your monitor into the CPU not your mobo, I think the 1050 has a hdmi plug(I'm going to research that)

Get a better PSU such as corsair CXM grey sticker and consider going the 2400G or 2200G route considering how bad GPU prices are rn.
