SSD copy speeds low??

Ok soo...

I've got 2 SSD's that's it.. Running a Kingston Digital 480GB and Kingston Digital 240GB... The 240 is the boot and the 480 is storage.. Now I don't understand because On their specs page it says it can read and write at 450MB MBps but I'm only copying 186MB sometimes a lil more but in general it's about 185MB..

Is this low? Shouldn't it be copying a lot faster? I've tested this with just a basic USB Drive too and when I plug it in I still get super low speeds and then I go and plug it into like a friends laptop or my moms laptop this is the same USB drive I use for my PC as well btw they get WAY faster copy speeds.. am I missing a driver or something?? I'm just so confused I feel like my drives are either broken or maybe just not setup right.

There is normally a slc cache on a ssd, once full it will get much slower. That speed seems fine.

How full is the storage SSD? The more you approach filling it up, the slower performance becomes due to how SSDs do their magic under the hood with wear leveling and all that.

but aight if everything's ok I'll ignore it then lol.. can anyone suggest better SSD's so I can get better copy speeds n such or is this just something im stuck with no matter the SSD?

was moving some game files for a private server  they were zips, 9.6 GB a piece. there was 3 of em It doesn't seem to matter what kinda files i move tho I'm always getting low speeds like that.
