Enthoo Evolv ATX

Arhub

Why is it, that countless people use the Enthoo Evolv in setup videos with i7s and 1080s (unmodded), there are so many good reviews about the case and even Temp. Benchmarks that are quite good

, but there are only a few videos that complain about the airflow?

as an owner of the Enthoo Evolv ATX case, i can tell you it is 10000000% horrible for air flow. I have a modded front cover from @Mnpctech and a modded top from @ModMyMods-Brennen to improve the airflow. WIthout this, (On my old 6700k with a Cyrorig R1 Ultimate air cooler) my cpu temps would be in the upper 70s and low 80s when gaming and streaming. As soon as I would take the front cover off, temps would drop into the low to mid 60s. Honestly, for case reviews, I trust Gamers Nexus as they actually test the functionality of it and how impactful things are against the thermals. If you plan to air cool, DO NOT get this case. I honestly wouldnt recommend it at all truthfully. I have had mine for a little over a year now.

I have this case too. I've built a custom waterloop in it. And I've done modding too on the front+top panel. The airflow is horrible, the case doesn't really dissipate the heat effectively to the air outside of the case.

I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone!

Depend on whether you go for its aesthetic or the maximum airflow.

I'm running this case with i5 8600k @ 5GHz and 1080 Ti

AIO Kraken X62 for the cpu , standard front intake and top exhaust

On Full load, my CPU is 65 degree , GPU is around 70* and I'm ok with that.

If you go for AIO or Air Cooler , I'd say just for go for it.

If water custom loop , there are better cases out there.

I wonder how many of those people in those videos (assuming they're from 2015-2016) still have the cases in an unmodded state.

"Load" isnt very descriptive. Gaming loads, CPU bench marks and CPU stress tests will give you VERY different temperatures. These could easily be cherry picked and Id be interested to see the source.
