Corsair VS Gskill

Lets compare:

Corsair Vengeance RGB at 203$(Samsung bdies  3466 mhz)

Gskill TridentZ RGB at 220$(Hynix 3200mhz)

What would you recommend me to get?I want high performance and high clocks, but design as well :(

Both are good. But I would go with Corsair over G.Skill, unless looks are important to you, then the G.Skill.

The main reason i am changing my rams are for the looks, but i dont want to drop the performance :'( What shall I do?

Then go for G.Skill. It's a great memory, I have it myself.

If you're concerned about the ship manufacturer - don't be. It's not a big deal. Besides, you will never notice the speed difference anyway. It's practically impossible to reach that speed limit by just gaming.

Neither of them will, φίλε.

RAM out of the box does not run at advertised speeds. You will need to overclock it.

Let's still discuss this in English, so others would understand if additional input is required.

And Hynix might be slower, in this particular case, but like I've said before, those speeds are out of your reach unless you're doing some heavy RAM-dependent work like in Adobe Premiere. So after about 2133MHz for gaming you will see absolutely no benefit whatsoever.

Just get what looks better, and it will work.

I am a designer, thats why i care about the high clocks.

So if i buy the Gskill ones,i want them to run at 3200MHZ and not lower

You will have to overclock. Same goes for the Corsair kit.

And it won't drop by little at all, you might see as low as 2133 on both kits out of the box. That's where XMP profile comes in and welcome to overclocking!

XMP profile is just trash.I would like to overclock them my self. The problem is:Will I achieve overclocking at 3200mhz CL14 as i would with the Vengeance ones?

You absolutely should. But this a lot of times depends on your hardware and on silicon lottery.

For example, sometimes you will have to overclock the CPU as well to achieve desired speeds.

Point is, I say yes you can, but then you can even fail at getting it up to 3000 and it might not be your fault.

Just get the G.Skill kit and I will bet it will run at 2466 out of the box.

That site confirms it will work with my motherboard, thats true isnt it?

CPU should be taken into consideration as well.

Is it Intel? If so, yes it will.

Is it Ryzen? You need high speed for best performance, but that is what you are getting so you are golden.

I have the G.Skill 16 (2*8) at 3000 MHz (out of the box it's lower of course at 2466 I think) and it works perfectly with my Ryzen 5 1600.
