cache storage

BluuStorm
Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Well considering that the process of data transfer within the CPU is very fast, it would be fast in day to day use such as transferring files. But we already have cache devices such as intel optain memory which is faster then a traditional SSD and (I think meets an NVMe SSD in terms of sequential read and write speeds, could be wrong there). But I say it'd be interesting to see.

what would it be like when we get storage with speed of cpu cache

the cache on a cpu is fast in large part BECAUSE it is small and close to the cpu . You can't get storage that fast because of this

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case
