CPU cooler?

I want to build a system with a ryzen 2400g.should I get a cpu cooler and if yes what would you recommend.my case will be an in win 303.+it shouldn't look like dogshit so no noctua coolers or 212 evos.and what thermal paste do you recommend

I think the stock coolers for Ryzen are fairly ok, but if you want to upgrade maybe something from Cryorig or Be Quiet? They make nice coolers I find.

Thermal paste wise, any will do really. My goto paste is Arctic MX-4.

I would still go with noctua, but would replace the brown fans with their Redux line-up of grey ones. Or some beautiful black cooler from be quiet!

IIRC, the Ryzen APUs come with the Wraith Stealth cooler, which is more than enough to keep a 2400G at stock or on a mild overclock cool and quiet, and the preapplied thermal paste is fine. If you're going for a monster overclock, you bought the wrong Ryzen.

 

If you're after an aftermarket cooler for the aesthetics alone, the Cryorig H7 or C7 provide a nice, clean, neutral look without a ton of exposed aluminum.
