do i need to upgrade power supply?

this is the power supply i have

im going to be doing a little bit of an upgrade on my computer but no hardware changes just the case and cpu cooler . i currently have a i5 3570k and gigabyte 7970 

is it worth upgrading this power supply , other future upgrades i will be doing is upgrading graphics card and some ssd's 

do i need to upgrade it?

No but if you want a modular psu with headroom for custom cooling, overclocking, sli or crossfire, you can upgrade to a 750watt gold efficiency for 80$.

 

Benefits

Modular - Less cables, more air flow.

More efficiency - Lower powerbill

More Wattage - Overclocking, CF or SLI, & Liquid Cooling

 

Negatives

You've already got a psu, & if you don't have the extra money right now, no reason you have to.

Nope unless you plan on doing SLI/Crossfire.

but 650 has plenty of head room for overclocking just not sli/crossfire
