Ballistix Tactical Tracer - Disable LED on Linux/FreeBSD?

Alright, so I ended up picking up some Ballistix Tactical Tracer DIMMs at a decent price considering what I was looking at. I use them for a total of 24GB in a NAS4Free server. The only problem I run into is the fact that these LEDs are quite annoying, and it only gets worse at night. I do love computer hardware, and my server is in a normal case with a side panel, but for the love of God these DIMMs are killing me with their flashing green LEDs.

 

I looked online for the software used to control these, of course it's only available for Windows, GG for that. So my question is, is there a way to directly talk to these DIMMs and disable this feature with FreeBSD? Otherwise I'm about to cover them with electrical tape. :v
