Blocking Steam

hi guys

anyone know how to block steam on a mac

i work for a media company and have bunch of mac that need to block steam on

the account they use to play steam isnt an admin account they are using steam portable app that gets around needing admin to install.

having trouble blocking at the firewall on the macs, all you have to do is reinstall it and it gets around the block. 

any help would be good thanks

block it on the network via the router.

yeah i wana block it on the router but we need to buy a license for it for our router and my boss wants to try evrything before we do that. its not that much ether he just dont want to even though its costing more for my time then it would for the license but hay hes the boss.

also tried apples parental control in the passed but that didnt work at all had so many problems with it not going to waste my time with that again.

Do you have a hardware firewall in place? If so, just block connections to steampowered.com I'd say.

does sth. like applocker exist on macs?

on windows systems that would be rather cake, no idea about the fruit thing though :-)
