Wrong gpu temps

When i play games my 1070 never goes over 65 degrees celcius. It allways goes up to 65 under intense gaming, but never more. HWmonitor, msi afterburner and corsair link all show the same. Why? Is the temperature sensor damaged?

How are you cooling your graphics card? Should be fine 65°C, I don't see anything wrong with that?

Gigabyte g1 gaming, but never mind. I took a look at temp history and max temp is 68. Just weird that i never see the card beeing that hot.

ambient temps can direcly impact yours results... that's why it's only 65...

My 1070 never goes over 50 degrees at 30% fan speed. 1070 strix . But then again my ambient temperature is about 15 degrees celsius soooo...

HWMonitor shows my 1070 gets to 61 after hours of gaming.  Never seen it go beyond that.

MSI Afterburner shows that my GTX 780(reference card, overclocked) gets to about 60-65C during gaming. Usually, that's the norm for load temperatures, with ~30C being the normal idle temperatures.
