Which EK liquid cooling kit should I get?

I have three in mind

the slim 360: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-kit-s360

the liquid 360: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-kit-l360-r2-0

the gaming a240 g: https://www.ekfluidgaming.com/ek-kit-a240g

I cant get anything more expensive than that

i'll be putting this in the fractal design meshify c, and i'll be using this for gaming, schoolwork, and web browsing.

For a budget cooling I would recommend the fluid gaming series just make sure your GPU is compatible with the specific block.

would it provide more performance than the slim and the liquid series?

It would be less actually since you have two heat generating components both a CPU and GPU in a single loop. Those copper based kits don't include a GPU block, it would need to be purchased separately with fittings to integrate into the loop.

For copper based kits I would recommend to look into the P series kits as they have a higher quality D5 pump and the better Evo CPU block. For a proper liquid cooling loop you are looking at a bare minimum starting price of $500 USD.

In that case then if you want to give a go at watercooling the fluid gaming kit would be the most cost effective option other than say an AIO.

ok thanks

If there were only the slim and liquid as options which would you chose? because I want to upgrade and expand the loop in the future.

I wouldn't select a kit but part things out myself as the pumps from those are more budget options, I'd still recommend to get a D5 or a DDC pump at the very least.

would I be able to make a custom loop myself for about the same price?

Like I said for a good quality custom loop your looking at a starting price of $500 USD for a single CPU and GPU. I don't recommend to go any less than that for if your looking at getting a good custom loop.

Those s series and l series kits don't come with a GPU block so your going to need to add an addition ~$150 on top of the price of the kit. The fluid gaming is the only ones that come with a GPU block.

Maybe using a bucket, pond pump and some garden hose.
