Would recommend 8GB but what games do you plan on playing?

Is it just me or is Grammar slowly becoming extinct on LTT?

If you render stuff, you really shouldn't even be asking how much ram you need. That's something you would kinda know. I mean, I blow through 8GB of ram easy if I'm doing something and there are members on LTT that blow threw 16GB like it's nothing. 4GB of ram today is like having 512mb a few years ago..it's nowhere near enough for work loads that's not a spreadsheet.

Well 4GB would the minimum. If you can go for 8GB.

it still works but super damm slow.that happened on my friends pc that I've used

4gb - minimum

8gb - standard

8gb & more - good for heavy tasks like rendering & etc...

bf4,tf2,NBA 2k14,crysis 3.

 

For just BF4 6gigs would be minimum to make it playable. 8gigs for now, another 8 if you feel needing it. Keep eye on ram usage while under load. That should give you some idea how much you need it.
