I'm looking for a gaming PC with no set budget but around the $1500 AUD (Australia) mark preferably under it. I'm going to be using the build for moderate - high gaming. Currently playing fortnite but will be looking to play more demanding games in the future. I plan on having 1 monitor, and i also need windows operating system.  I'm upgrading because currently i'm using a notebook laptop and cant run that many games and only get 20-30 fps in the ones i can. Thank you for your assistance.

This is probably your best bet right now, including monitor and Windows. 1060 and above are a no go with current pricing, and so is 16GB RAM.

Hey, someone has to do the initial config ;)

Didn't spot that 3GB 1060 and I always prefer slightly more open cases so that costs a bit extra too heh.

I went with the LTT best budget mATX case. you could fit a 1060 6gb for another 100$. AU didn't get that hard by mining it looks like.
