Passive Cooler Help

Eyy.

 

Need a passive cooler for, get this, an i7 8700k.

 

It might seem like I'm an idiot but it's intended for a mod build which will feature mineral oil and lots of radiators.

 

TDP no overclock is 95W, any ideas what it would be on overclock?

 

Also, if you want to point out any good passive coolers be obliged.

Just get the biggest one, meaning with the most surface area and remove the fan? Noctua?

Mineral oil PC? Please, spare yourself the torture and just don't.

It's for a modding competition, and I'm no artist 

 

The mineral oil is actually for one of the sections of the competition, and also a personal venture (just for the hell of it)

you could always get a normal air cooler and take off the fans. that way you get a massive passive heatsink basically.

Good choice; I assume submerging it in the cooled oil with makeup for either the more stress on the fan or dissipate heat from the heatpipes at a higher rate.

A good large heatsink is the old Thermalright Macho, but I don't think there are many of them around.

I'd probably recommend the Scythe Ninja 4. It has wider spacing between fins so it shouldn't impede the flow too much.
