What do you want to do with the 4K monitor?

 

Yes, you can output to a 4K display but you won't be able to play games at that resolution.

Yes. Don't try to game on it though. It's decent at 720p, okay at 1080p low but don't push it.

You could play tf2 low maybe medium at 4k. The same for san andreas etc.

if purely to browse the web and watch videos on youtube or hulu/netflix, yes it will be just fine. For gaming at 4k, not a chance.

yes, why not? make sure you have enough vram buffer.

and prepare for sub 20fps gaming and a bucket to throw up.

I think you also need to check your mainboard's video output specifications if they really provide 4K on the desired port (DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort).
