Minecraft at high fps and low fps at the same time

sooo... i have this problem where minecraft is playing at 190+ FPS anyone know anything that may help? i have re"installed" mc (deleted it and redownloaded it, know u don`t have to install it)

Noob you only get 190 fps...

in video settings you can turn on vsync, there is also a slider for max framerate.

There's a max fps slider in settings.. blind or what?

 

 

And yeah we know you just want to show off your builds and fps. Nothing special here, seen much better shit.

i have the slider set to maxi run 40 fps ! can feel it bro .... :(

vsync makes it even worse :( the slider is at max, one of the pics you can see it`s at 250 fps not 190, said 190+ bcus that was what the picture with lesser fps showed...

By low fps do you mean frame tearing? Because that would make more sense.

i don`t mean tearing, i mean that mc claims here to be high fps but im only actually getting around 40. I can feeel it :( bf4 runs at 60+ fps and it`s a lot smoother. You know what i mean
