Generally I use uTorrent or Vuze on mac but I noticed when googling BitTorrent that they are labeled as Adware and there are clients that don't have ads so which is the best ad free one?

I like Tixati. It works really well, has the ability to spoof the signature of other clients (like utorrent), and has a convenient file-sharing "channel" system for browsing torrents.

Didn't transmission have the exploit adware thing a while back?

seems to be due to to a website hack. i dont use the version from the website and the ones in the distros were unaffected.
