Laptop help

I'm heading off to college in August, and I need help. I need some help finding the most well rounded laptop for my college work. Something reasonably light and a good battery are my main priorities. I don't have a huge budget, but I would prefer something between $500-$800max.

Razer blade stealth are good laptops on the cheaper end of razors spectrum, LG gram as mentioned is a definite contender.

Depends on budget though.

Thinkpad T430, or T530 with an extended battery. Both of these computers can be configured with either i7-3840QM's or i7-3940XM's with a max of 16gb ram. Both can utilize 3 storage drives, one being mSATA which is SATA2.

Best build quality & performance for that price range IMO and you can make a pretty beast edition of either for under $600. That's with either of those CPU's, 16gb of ram plus some SSD's!! You won't see any performance increase past 10% with anything below 8th gen...even most of those are marginal performance increases.

CPU: i7-4770k @4.8ghz---Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z97---Ram 32gb Corsair Vengeance---GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 980 4gb way sli---Case: Corsair 600T White---Storage: 500gb 850 Pro & WD Black 4tb---PSU: Corsair RM1000

Display size isn't a big priority, but I need something that can fit in my back pack. Weight isn't a priority either, but I don't want to struggle while pulling it out repeatedly. And I just need it to be relatively fast and have at least a terabyte of storage.
