So I have watched some buildzoid videos I came to a conclusion that I should cool my VRM considering my OC goal for my Ryzen 1600x is 4Ghz on MSI B350 Tomahawk and I wanted to ask a few questions.

Firstly do you think this is needed for stability and longevity? If so how should I mount 40mm fan on top of the VRM(note: I'm using a Noctua NH-D15 cooler so it's a bit tight)?

Another thing is I'd like to put a few more intake and exhaust fans. My case is Fractal Design R5 and currently I have 2 intake fans(one in the front of the case and the other one on the bottom) and 1 exhaust fan on back. The top of the case is closed atm and I'd like to add 1 exhaust at the top and one more intake at the front of the case. Is there a limit for how many Y splitter cables I can use?

Thanks
