I play a bunch of games but I will most likely be playing Skyrim, Fallout 3/NV, Mass Effect and Batman series and whatever I can grab cheap in the Steam Winter Sale.

It'll do fine. Just take these benchmarks and multiply the scores by 1.78 (1080p/900p), also add a few grains of salt as not everything scales perfectly.

I'm currently shopping for a cheap, temporary graphics solution. I have found a HD7770 for £65 and plan to run it on a 1440x900 monitor until I have the funds to purchase a high-end card/new monitor.

 

Anyone know how it will run on 1440x900?

 

Any help is appreciated.

What games do you play?

 

It should do fine.

 

I'd guess it can run BF3 at 900p with ~65fps (based on these graphs and math)

The 7770 will perform admirably at that resolution.
