so i have this crappy gigabyte ab350-m and was wondering if those wifi cards in laptops could fit in the place of the NVME ssd slit but will it power it

They are usually different. Wifi cards in laptops are usually mPCIE, which isnt compatible with M.2. You will need an adapter
