Chrome slow to load pages

Okay so the last two days chrome on my desktop has been slow as crap loading pages. I tried edge and it works fine as well as firefox . I have no rogue processes using cpu or anything and have rebooted my modem and router a few times but all network checks show no issues 46 ping 117mbps down 14 mbps up. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled chrome to no avail. Its only using about a gig of ram with a couple tabs open which seems on par with how much it used before. Im stumped any help would be appreciated

Have you tried reinstalling chrome.

And try disabling any plugins that you might have installed just to see if that is messing with anything. You could quickly test this by using incognito mode (Ctrl + Shift + N) in chrome.

it pops up the waiting box then it disappears and sits on a blank page for a few seconds then the page loads and images and everything take a few more to show up, I have reinstalled and i have no plugins ( im totally basic lol) I tried the incognito window just now and its the same deal, takes like 5 seconds to load a page

Yeah, I actually reinstalled windows and it's working better so far. Still not as good as before, but better. I am probably going to grab a network card and see if the Intel lan is borked
