I got a temporary 32gb ssd for my laptop because it was cheap and the only thing i could find that would fit into the msata slot on my laptop. Im looking for something better noe though. My lsptop boots up very wuickly but feels really sluggish when navigating the os. Its an hp revolve g1 btw that i kind of built from scrap parts. So im not afraid of modding anything either if needed.

Thank you!

Does it have to be mSATA or can it be a SATA drive? What's your budget?

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Msata. I only have an msata slot thats around 30mm wide. So like m.2 form factor xD. Depends on the performance. The cheaper the better but something that at least performs as well as a 7200r hard drive because mine can slow down a lot. Also i dont use ohysicsl storage much, i still have 10gb left on my ssd so i dont need a ton of storage. Just when i try to load programs or the occasional games it can be a come back in 10-15 minutes thing yet windows starts up very quick idk.

This is my current one:

KingSpec 32GB mSATA internal solid state drive for table PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Z6WBY6G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fyiGAbTRYD41J

There aren't that many choices when it comes to mSATA unfortunately :/. I know the 250gb 850 evo is pretty decent but that sounds pretty overkill for you. A lot of decent SATA SSDs just don't have mSATA variants.
