Budget build

Excuse my bad english, I'm from europe -

I wanted to do a cheap build, but I don't know if it would work so here are the parts (I will take used hardware) which I found to be the cheapest:

 

Mobo: no name (I think?) and a bit strange, so here is the link

CPU: Intel Xeon X5650

RAM: HP 4GB DDR3 RAM 2Rx4 PC3-10600R-9 REG Dimm (decided to take these bc 3x 2GB probably won't be enough)

Power Supply: Tacens Eco Smart APII600

Heatsink: COOLER MASTER RR-212X-20PM-R1 (or recommendations for overclocking)

budget: wanted to keep it below roughly 200€ (gpu excluded)

 

I would be happy to know if this would even work and which gpu I can use maximum in this build without having mobo or cpu as bottleneck. I want to wait until the gpu prices drop when everybody is selling his mining rig, so I will use some 5€ gpu until I have money to upgrade.

Those are weird no name boards, dont expect them to be perfect.

 

what are you using this for?

 

you dont have a gpu.

 

this board probably wont be able to use registered dimms.

 

id get a used desktop like a dell optiplex.

Only building for shits and giggles to see what I could do out of it, I want to have the best bang for the buck.

The gpu will be some cheapo I have lying aroundn until I can upgrade

It doesnt matter how crap the rest is but DONT CHEAP OUT ON YOUR POWER SLUPPY!

fun fact: i had once an (small) fire because i bought an cheap laptop power adaptor, Ahhh china makes always great quality

All PSUs are made in China (the one exception being the Cooler Master MIJ)
