Alienware OEM GTX 780

RJF049
Go to solution Solved by Lord Pantaloons,

Does anyone know what cooler an OEM GTX 780 pulled out of an alienware system will have?

It will most likely have the reference 7xx series cooler. I don't see any reason why Alienware would change it as it's very effective and looks good.

The fact that you bought anything online that only uses stock photos shold've sent up red flags.

Go forth and maximize profits.

I disagree lol but thanks. Most good ebayers with a good history don't want to destroy their rep.

Even the most level headed honest people are prone to bouts of dishonesty and irrational decisions.

I guess we shall see. But buying overpriced brand new components isn't always the only option. I sell parts all the time and I like to see the used market thrive. I have never been ripped off yet but I guess there is always that risk.

Considering that you can only go on someone's word when buying used I would say that is is the only option in my opinion. Sure someone can say they something works fine but you only find out if that's true or not after you get it. I would pay more to get something new that has a warranty rather than trust another persons promises or some meaningless seller rating.

I'm not trying to change your mind I don't know why you think I'm trying to, it's your money and your choice.
