So, alittle while back, I had made a post indicating the issues I was having with my laptop, including the screen being messed up.... Unfortunately, just from moving it a couple times, it's gotten worse. I have taken a look at used hardware, and found these two items on Amazon, both listed as used for $500(USD)

I know HP has a reputation for not having the best quality. CybertronPC rings a bell, but I'm not sure I've ever heard about them being talked about. ANYWHO, these two seems like they could fit the bill. My current laptop's camera tops out at 360p 30fps, and my phone, well.....(here's the link to the phone: https://www.zteusa.com/zte-sonata-3 ). I'd love to be able to get a YouTube channel started, and my current hardware doesn't feel equipped to handle it. I would also like to be able to game on it, so dedicated graphics would be really helpful.

Where you could see "Thursday" here is no longer visible, and part of "January" is also obscured.

There is no way that 32 GB of ram is 500 dollars.... It is used, but take it. HP is better than the other one.

Neither, HP Pavilion series is mediocre in terms of overall build quality, moreover temps will be very high if paired with powerful hardware like HQ CPU and GTX graphics since its cooling design also mediocre

Outdated hardware but not a big deal actually. The problem is, I have no idea what's the actual model of the laptop, meaning that I dunno anything including the weaknesses of the CybertronPC model you linked.

That's an issue I saw. I don't know much if anything about the company or the products they make. I know both models seem to have a high rating, and both are sold by the same seller who has a 98% rating. The one year parts and labor warrenty and lifetime tech support is something else that caught my eye on the CybertronPC. I should be able to diagnose and fix anything wrong with it, but it's nice to have the coverage. I did forget to mention, I will be pulling the 480GB HyperX Savage out of my current laptop and I also have a 1TB HGST HDD that's still running strong that I can still use. If anything, I can continue using the HDD as an external drive.

They are made by ODMs like Quanta and Clevo. It looks like N150RF but I'm not 100% sure. @sicily428 any ideas?

You must sacrifice between build quality and power. If you need extra performance, the Pavilion 17t is better. If you want good build quality, go for the CybertronPC Clevo model. Note that both laptops have mediocre IPS display and mediocre battery life.

I'm fine with battery life for now. They are probably going to spend the majority of their time by a wall outlet anyways. As for the build quality...... out of the two laptops I've owned, one was a HP Envy x2(it was a 2-in-1 piece of crap, not worth it), and my current HP 15 that has served me well up until this point(dispite it's less then mediocre gaming performance. Just fine for internet browsing and light productivity though, but not even close for my needs).

So...... I don't have a brand loyalty, and I can live with the lesser performance, but I can also live with the lesser build quality. Sorry if that doesn't help.

Why say sorry? You don't need to say so, it's your decision so choose yourself. Personally I'll prioritize build quality.

Otherwise, both should fit my needs, being as I will probably be keeping the resolution of the videos down to 720p, correct?

You mean gaming? Just dial down the settings and you should be fine. Depends on games though.
